Favorite Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 9:24

Favorite Sport:  Lacrosse

In the summer of 2004, entering my senior year at Westminster High School, my life was forever changed by the FCA ministry. That summer I played on the FCA National Elite Lacrosse Team, and during my time on that team I was called into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. Eight years later, in January 2012, God called me to serve full time as an area representative through the same organization that changed my life. I know, first hand, that God can change a life through the FCA ministry, and I also believe that He can change a community through a ministry. I believe that through FCA, Carroll County will be impacted through the influence of athletes and coaches and I am honored to be a part of it!

I married my beautiful wife, Ashli, on July 14, 2012 in Westminster, Maryland. We currently live in Finksburg. MD and attend LifePoint Church.

Britton Hastings

Area Representative

Favorite Bible Verse:  2 Cor. 5:17

Favorite Sport: Football

Britton is a recent graduate from McDaniel College who brings a vibrant ministry background to FCA. Through high school and college, he has lead Young Life in many different capacities. When arriving on campus as a freshman football player at McDaniel, Britton helped establish and grow the first FCA Huddle, as well as leading an FCA Bible Study for male athletes. As a junior in college, Britton interned at Crossroads Community Church where he helped serve locally and abroad.  While at McDaniel, Britton was instrumental in the life-change of his roommate and teammate, George. Britton invited George to FCA on campus as a freshman where George received his first bible and heard about Jesus clearly for the first time. George has been a key leader at McDaniel FCA all because of the influence of a bold teammate.  Britton is married to Morgan who is the Huddle Coach for Mt. Airy Middle FCA.

Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 5:3-5

Favorite Sport:  Football

My name is Chris Sturdivant. I am 38 years old and newly married to my wonderful wife Miranda. We are the parents of three energetic teenagers Alex (17), Michaella (16), and William (14). Our story is an incredible example of remaining strong in faith through some really tough storms and the blessings that come from that. I am a deacon, youth director, coach, retired athlete, community leader, and mentor. Thanks to God's amazing plan for my life and His ability to combine strengths with passions, I am now serving full time with the FCA in Carroll County. I have been blessed and amazed at His work in me so far and can't wait to see what He has planned for me in this new chapter of my life. I am so blessed to be called to serve.

Heather Boyle

Administrative Assistant

Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11

Favorite Sport: Volleyball

My involvement with FCA began as a high school student but it wasn’t until the summer of 2013 that I became involved as an adult. The homeschool volleyball team my children have been a part of needed a new oversight program and it was decided that our team would become an FCA team. Our time with FCA and Brandon has resulted in many blessings that can only be explained by the sovereign hand of God. God has continued to bless my involvement with FCA by allowing me to come on staff May 16, 2014. I am proud to be a part of an organization that seeks to reach the community with the love of Christ through sports.

I have been married twenty-six years to my husband Damon. We have four children, Allie Crecelius (23), Erin (21), Megan (18), and Kevin (16). We currently live in Eldersburg, MD and attend Friendship Baptist Church.
